Terms of Service

LaunchCV is a software tool that helps you build, tailor, and manage your CV and job applications using AI. It is a productivity tool — not a recruitment agency, job guarantee, or career counselling service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use LaunchCV.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Impersonating another person or entity is not permitted.

You own the content you create using LaunchCV — your CVs, cover letters, and career information.

By using the service, you grant LaunchCV a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely to provide the service you have requested (for example, sending CV text to the AI API to generate improvements when you explicitly trigger that action).

You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you create and export. LaunchCV does not independently verify your career history or qualifications.

AI features in LaunchCV produce suggestions based on your input. These suggestions are starting points — not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for every employer or role.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before submitting it to a potential employer. Do not include AI-generated content you have not verified as truthful.

LaunchCV does not guarantee that using the service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment.

LaunchCV offers both one-time purchases (e.g., Interview Push, Career Campaign, audit unlocks) and free access. All prices are displayed in Euros and retrieved from our payment provider (Stripe) at checkout.

Purchases are processed by Stripe. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe’s terms of service in addition to these Terms.

One-time plans grant access for the stated duration (e.g., 30 or 90 days) from the date of purchase. There are no recurring subscription charges unless explicitly stated.

Due to the nature of digital products and immediate AI usage, we generally do not offer refunds after access has been granted. If you have a billing issue or experienced a technical problem that prevented you from using a feature you paid for, contact us at support@launchcv.co within 7 days of purchase and we will review it on a case-by-case basis.

You can request account deletion from Settings → Account. Your personal content (CVs, cover letters, job targets) is scheduled for deletion within 30 days of the request, with a recovery window if you change your mind.

Payment records are retained for 7 years for legal, tax, and accounting compliance even after account deletion. These records do not include your CV content.

You agree not to:

• Use LaunchCV to generate fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawful content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform programmatically without permission.
• Use the service in a way that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction.
• Share your account credentials with others or resell access.
• Attempt to circumvent billing or access controls.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

LaunchCV’s software, interface, prompts, and brand are our intellectual property. Using the service does not grant you any rights to them beyond what is needed to use the service.

The content you create (your CVs, cover letters) remains your intellectual property. AI-generated suggestions that you incorporate and edit become part of your content.

LaunchCV is provided “as is”. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or temporarily suspend features with or without notice. We will try to provide advance notice of significant changes that affect paid features.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaunchCV is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of employment opportunities, business losses, or reliance on AI-generated content.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of LaunchCV after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes by email where reasonably possible.
